Ru Budhi grew up in New York City before moving to Portland in 2015. With a deep passion for multifamily investments, he remains actively engaged in the industry—regularly touring properties, attending Portland Housing Bureau meetings, and advising clients on best practices.
In 2019, Ru was awarded a national Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) scholarship. He later earned the SVN International Achiever Award in both 2021 and 2024 and became a certified multifamily specialist in 2023. Currently, he serves as Vice President at SVN-Imbrie Realty LLC, having previously worked for one of the largest commercial real estate firms in the Portland metro area.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Ru is an avid outdoor enthusiast and a graduate of both Outward Bound and NOLS. When he’s not working, you’ll often find him exploring Pacific Northwest trails with his wife and their dog. Dedicated to community service, he serves on the board of directors for the Laurelhurst Neighborhood Association and as a trustee for the James Beard Public Market.
