Bio
Russ Panowicz was born and raised in Olympia, Washington where he worked in the family retail jewelry business during his childhood and high school years. He graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, always working to pay his own way through school. Immediately after college, Russ moved to the San Francisco Bay Area and began working in sales for an office products company called, Tab Sales of California.
In 1985, Russ began his career in Investment Real Estate with Marcus & Millichap. He has represented both Buyers and Sellers in all major Investment Real Estate property types. Russ's continued success as an Investment Real Estate Broker is partially due to a thorough understanding of different product types and his willingness to become an expert in specific market areas. In 1990 he was promoted to Senior Sales Associate, an honor held by less than 10% of the agents that start with the company. Over the past 23 years, he has consistently received special recognition for outstanding performance in real estate investment sales and received honorary plaques in the years 1988, 1990, 1998, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2004 and 2005. Additionally, in the 4th quarter of 1990, he single-handedly sold the largest property in the Western United States and within the Marcus & Millichap Company.
The relationships Russ has developed during his career at Marcus & Millichap with other agents throughout the company, is one of mutual respect and cooperation. Also of importance in today's environment is his reputation for working closely with qualified investment brokers associated with other companies. He strives to bring the most qualified buyer to the table, both within and outside of the Marcus & Millichap Network. His active solicitation and cooperation with outside brokers has allowed him to become prominently known and respected throughout the 9 County Bay Area Region.
