Bio
Ryan is one of four principals of Tactix. Since joining Tactix in 2007 he has become a leader within the firm, growing its client base, recruiting new brokers, and raising Tactix’s profile in the region. Ryan was pivotal in spearheading Tactix’s move from Radnor to Center City Philadelphia and in establishing Tactix’s Wilmington, DE and new Malvern, PA offices.
Ryan’s practice at Tactix is solely focused on representing tenants and other end users of commercial real estate with leasing, acquisition and disposition strategies. His experience ranges from representing a life sciences company with the acquisition of a 15-acres, 215,000sf new headquarters and manufacturing campus in Exton, to helping a family trust dispose of a multi-generation, 100-acre farm (this creative and highly tax-efficient structure resulted in the conservation of the property in perpetuity), to helping a premier engineering company consolidate multiple locations into a new 40,000sf headquarters in Philadelphia. His clients include organizations large and small in a variety of industries including legal, non-profit, tech, healthcare, engineering, financial services, and life sciences. Ryan’s deep knowledge of real estate from both a development and leasing perspective and his extensive relationships throughout the region and across the country offers his clients unique insight and experience.
Prior to joining Tactix, Ryan was a Development Manager for Preferred Real Estate Investments, Inc., a diversified real estate investment company with over $2 billion in assets, where he was responsible for the redevelopment of over 9.5 million square feet of mixed-use o?ce and industrial property. Ryan’s real estate career started as a Graduate Intern at the Riverfront Development Corporation of Delaware, the organization formed to redevelop the Christina Riverfront in Wilmington, Delaware – one of the Mid-Atlantic region’s most successful urban redevelopment projects.
Ryan lives in Center City Philadelphia with his wife, Jill, and their two children. He is a devout Philadelphia sports fan, a lover of the Delaware Beaches, and a tortured golfer.
