Bio
Ryan Fassett serves as Senior Vice President at Oxford Partners, bringing 15 years of commercial real estate experience focused on tenant representation across the Greater Houston market. He specializes in office and industrial leasing, advising companies through complex real estate decisions with an analytical, client-first approach.
Ryan began his professional career as a materials engineer before transitioning into investment banking, where he developed a strong foundation in financial analysis, underwriting, and deal structuring. Following the 2008 financial crisis, he shifted into commercial real estate, applying his technical and financial background to tenant advisory work. His early brokerage experience included roles at UGL Equis and Moody Rambin, where he built a long-standing practice representing office tenants. He later spent time at Lee & Associates before joining Oxford Partners.
Throughout his career, Ryan has represented a wide range of tenants, helping organizations align their real estate decisions with operational and financial objectives. Notable client work includes a long-term advisory relationship with Murex Petroleum, supporting multiple lease transactions over more than a decade, and guiding the Norwegian Geotechnical Institute through a successful relocation to a space better suited to its operational needs.
Ryan is known for his analytical rigor, responsiveness, and commitment to understanding each client’s priorities. His background in engineering and finance enables him to evaluate real estate decisions through both technical and economic lenses, ensuring practical, informed outcomes.
He holds a Master of Science in Finance from DePaul University and a Bachelor of Science in Materials Engineering from Michigan Technological University. Ryan remains optimistic about Houston’s commercial real estate outlook, citing steady office absorption, a resilient industrial market, and continued regional growth.
