As Corcoran’s Regional Vice President for Downtown Manhattan, Ryan oversees three offices with more than 600 agents: Chelsea, Park Avenue South and Soho. A longtime practitioner of real estate, Ryan is an industry leader known for his integrity, market knowledge and management expertise.
On an enterprise level, Ryan supports the executive team in maintaining a thriving, values-driven culture in the service of driving business results for agents and clients. With a style that is intuitive and empowering, Ryan helps agents and fellow employees to drive optimal results through innovation, collaboration and strategic thinking. His focus on the individual allows every agent and office to thrive in the context of the larger Corcoran team, while also forging strategic partnerships with an eye toward facilitating growth for the agent and company.
A lifelong New Yorker, Ryan has a thorough and nuanced understanding of the city’s fast-paced, idiosyncratic market as well as the knowledge and skill-set required to thrive within it. Ryan’s expertise is built on his 15-plus years in New York City brokerage as well as on his prior career as an analyst in affordable housing finance at Standard & Poor’s. This broad-based experience informs his deep and broad understanding of real estate economics.
Ryan holds a degree in Urban Studies from Stanford University and an MBA from Yale University, where he established the graduate program’s real estate student interest group. Ryan has served as on the board of two NYC cooperatives including tenures as both president and treasurer. After living uptown and downtown, he now resides in Midtown East with his partner and two cats.
