Bio
Ryan McGuirl is an Associate Director on the Tri-State Investment Sales group of Avison Young’s New York City Office.
Ryan has been involved in sales with an aggregate value of over $400MM since joining Avison Young in 2021. His main areas of focus include multifamily, mixed-use and development opportunities located in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Northern New Jersey.
Previously, Ryan was a Portfolio Manager at Bold New York, a residential consulting and brokerage firm, where he managed a team of leasing agents and execution for multifamily portfolios throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Jersey City, in addition to closing over $35 Million in residential sales.
Ryan earned a Master of Science degree in Real Estate Development from NYU’s Schack Real Estate Program, where he was awarded The Michael J. Farrell Academic Excellence Scholarship, was selected as a 2020-2021 NYU SPS Dean’s Scholar, and participated in the NYU SPS High School Academy Mentorship Program for first-generation high school students in New York City.
He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Trinity College, where he was a member of the varsity football team and was named to the 2011 and 2012 New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) All-Academic Team.
Ryan is licensed as an Associate Broker in New York and as a Real Estate Salesperson in New Jersey. He is a member of REBNY and a founding member of the Trinity College Real Estate Group.
