Ryan is back in Raleigh after managing real estate investments in Washington, D.C. where he worked at Colony Capital. As a senior analyst there, he was responsible for asset management of a $1.5 billion senior housing portfolio.
After Colony and prior to joining Nowell, Ryan worked at Liberty Investment Partners, a private investment firm in Raleigh. He focused on sourcing, underwriting and asset management of retail properties. Ryan led the acquisition of a $10.1 million shopping center in Richmond and the $8.2 million purchase of a medical and retail center in Yorktown, VA. Ryan is a broker at Nowell Investment Real Estate focusing on investment sales. He most recently facilitated the sale of a $6.3 million shopping center in Pinehurst, NC.
Ryan is a graduate of N.C. State University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. Ryan is a member of the Urban Land Institute and the International Council of Shopping Centers.
