Samir Guzman serves as Executive Director of Leasing & Marketing at Paramount Assets, a family-owned, vertically integrated real estate investment, management, and development firm focused on urban markets throughout New Jersey and the broader Northeast. In his current role, Guzman oversees all leasing and marketing activities across the company’s commercial portfolio, which includes retail, office, multifamily, and mixed-use assets located primarily in Newark, Elizabeth, Paterson, Plainfield, and other urban centers. His responsibilities include tenant sourcing and negotiations, retail merchandising strategy, marketing positioning, and coordination with ownership and development teams to support asset stabilization and long-term value creation. Guzman is widely associated with Paramount Assets’ urban retail leasing strategy and has been recognized multiple times for transaction volume and market activity in Northern New Jersey.
Guzman brings more than two decades of real estate experience to his role, combining brokerage, ownership, and landlord-side leasing expertise. He has been affiliated with Paramount Assets since at least the late 2000s, initially serving in leasing management roles before assuming executive leadership responsibilities. In parallel, he has operated as Owner and Broker of Record of Urban Realty Trends LLC, which works in conjunction with Paramount Assets on urban retail leasing initiatives. Earlier in his career, Guzman worked as a commercial leasing manager for Paramount Assets and as a residential real estate agent, building a foundation in transaction execution and investor advisory services. He is also a former F-16 Crew Chief with the United States Air Force, prior to transitioning into the real estate industry. Guzman holds a New Jersey real estate broker license and is active in national industry organizations focused on retail and commercial real estate.
