Passion, in every sense of the word, has been an integral part of my life. I wake up every day grateful for the life I live; and grateful to have the ability to do the things I love on a daily basis. I've been tremendously fortunate to have many great mentors in my life. Along with the morals and values I have grown to learn in my adult life, what I value most of all is the strong work ethic I have been able to adopt from my parents who immigrated here from the Former Yugoslavia.
At the young age of 21, I began my journey as an entrepreneur when I opened up Live Wire Electric. Today, I'm fortunate to say that it has grown into a thriving business and is one of New York City’s premier electrical contracting firms. With world-recognized brand clients such as Versace, Valentino, and Ralph Lauren, my quest to continually grow this business to its utmost potential is what drives me to never waver and keep moving forward.
In 2014, I was generously asked by a local school to be a guest speaker, in hopes of encouraging the graduating class to achieve their dreams and aspirations; and with privilege and honor I accepted. This experience was a milestone in my adult life and it was incredibly humbling, because it was not too long ago, I was in their very shoes; with my entire future ahead of me and nothing but dreams and aspirations to harness my ambition. Since then, I have been blessed with the opportunity to be participant in, and donate to, many charitable affairs such as St. Jude’s research hospital, American Cancer Society, Angels in Africa, and homeless shelters across the NYC area.
