Bio
Samira Madhany is a Managing Director in the U.S. Real Estate group based in Washington, D.C. She primarily focuses on new investment opportunities in multifamily, medical office, and senior housing. Ms. Madhany’s experience includes equity investments in both stabilized assets as well as development projects in various markets across the U.S.
Prior to joining Carlyle in 2006, Ms. Madhany was an Investments Associate at CarrAmerica Realty Corporation, where she specialized in acquisitions and dispositions in the office sector.
Ms. Madhany received a Master of Business Administration from Duke University and she was the recipient of a merit scholarship. She graduated tau beta pi from Vanderbilt University, where she received a Bachelor of Engineering.
She is a member of the ULI Senior Housing Council.
