Mr. Hopkins is a Vice President in Ares Real Estate, where he focuses on U.S. multifamily real estate equity asset management. Prior to joining Ares in 2021, he was an Associate at Black Creek Group, where he focused on the asset management of the fund's multifamily portfolio. Previously, Mr. Hopkins was the Multifamily Asset Manager for McWhinney Properties, a regional developer of Class A apartment complexes in Colorado. In addition, he worked in an acquisitions role for Mckinney Properties in Pittsburgh, PA. He holds a B.S. from the University of Florida in Mechanical Engineering and an M.B.A. from Rollins College.
