Bio
Scott McWhorter co-founded Virtú Investments with Michael Green in 1997 when they acquired their first investment property in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Mr. McWhorter has focused on the execution of complicated and unique transactions and the overall development of the firm.
Prior to founding Virtú, Mr. McWhorter gained extensive transactional and analytical real estate experience while personally overseeing the acquisition of 35 properties for a California based multi-family acquisition firm. Mr. McWhorter's diverse entrepreneurial background includes acting as COO and eventually selling Premier Sports Marketing (industry leader in athletic facility advertising) to Viacom in 1999, as well as playing and coaching professional basketball in Europe, and acting as a financial advisor and player agent. Mr. McWhorter graduated from the University of San Francisco with degrees in both Accounting and Finance, and an emphasis in real estate.
