Scott Ramey is a Vice Chairman for Newmark, based in the Orlando office. Ramey has a primary focus on the Central Florida markets including Orlando, Tampa, Melbourne and Daytona Beach. He is responsible for multifamily brokerage and advisory services and specializes in investment sales, land sales and equity and debt placement. Since joining Newmark in 2013, Ramey has been involved in the sale of over $7.8 billion multifamily assets throughout Florida.
Before joining Newmark, Ramey managed the leasing of a four million square foot industrial portfolio for EastGroup Properties, a New York Stock Exchange listed industrial REIT. During his tenure there, he personally negotiated over 250 lease transactions valued in excess of $23 million in rental income. Prior to EastGroup, he worked as a commercial underwriter for SunTrust Bank in Jacksonville.Real Estate.
