Scott's Nashville real estate career dates back to 1995 and the Capital Markets area, first with Mellon Mortgage Co. and then FINOVA Realty Capital, where he arranged financing consisting of equity placements, bridge loans, mezzanine debt, construction loans, and long-term, fixed-rate debt. In 2000, after establishing a solid foundation in the financial arena, Scott began focusing exclusively on multi-family. Scott has spent over 15 years in multifamily brokerage most recently with ARA Newmark. Throughout his brokerage career, Scott has executed acquisitions and dispositions for both institutional and private capital clients valuing is excess of $1.5 Billion. Scott has also been involved in the acquisition, development, re-development and condo conversions totaling $100 Million. He has been general partner in repositioning multifamily assets for both long-term and short-term rentals. He had developed from the ground up multifamily for rent and townhomes for sale. He also oversaw the conversion of 3 multifamily properties to condos. A native of New Orleans, Scott received a BA from Vanderbilt University in Nashville where he has resided now for over 25 years with his wife and three children. Scott holds a CCIM.
