Mr. Woodruff is co-founder of Denali Properties with over 22 years of industry experience. Prior to co-founding Denali, Mr. Woodruff held various executive positions at Centennial Real Estate Company, including Executive Vice President of Development (2011-2014) and Senior Vice President of Asset Management (2005-2011). At Centennial, Mr. Woodruff led the execution of the company’s value-add business plans, including the redevelopment and repositioning of eight neighborhood shopping centers totaling over 700,000 square feet, two regional malls and one office tower. Mr. Woodruff also led lease negotiations with anchor tenants and other national retailers, such as Whole Foods Market, Petco, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Chick-fil-A, Chase, Aldi, Carls Jr., Big Lots, Tuesday Morning, Northern Tool, and 99 Ranch Market. Before joining Centennial, Mr. Woodruff was a member of the retail investment sales group at Cushman & Wakefield, where he focused on the sales of regional malls and shopping centers. Previously, Mr. Woodruff worked in the asset management group at Woodbine Development, an affiliate of Hunt Realty, where he operated five hotels and resorts. Prior to that, Mr. Woodruff was a senior financial analyst at Sierra Retail Partners, another affiliate of Hunt Realty. There he was responsible for research and underwriting and development planning for the acquisition and development of retail centers. Mr. Woodruff began his career as a financial analyst at Transamerica Real Estate Companies. Mr. Woodruff holds a bachelor of science degree in business administration from The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. His dual major was finance and real estate & urban analysis. Mr. Woodruff holds a salesperson license (inactive) with the Texas Real Estate Commission.
