Shane is a nationally ranked real estate entrepreneur, author, business consultant, and broker-owner with more than 15 years of experience building and scaling high-performing companies across commercial real estate, development, construction, hospitality, and professional services. With a foundation in architectural drafting and hands-on homebuilding, Shane brings an operator’s mindset to every transaction—combining design insight, construction economics, and long-term asset strategy. He obtained his real estate license in 2009 and aligned early with RE/MAX Concepts, focusing on building durable systems, strong teams, and scalable business models. Today, Shane is a Principal Owner/ President of RE/MAX Concepts, the largest real estate brokerage in Iowa, and top 50 in the country overseeing hundreds of agents across multiple states,offices and markets. In addition to executive leadership, he remains actively involved in the sourcing, structuring, and sale of commercial real estate, representing owners, investors, and developers in office, retail, mixed-use, and income-producing assets throughout Central Iowa and beyond. Shane is also the owner of KReate Business Brokerage & Consulting, where he and his team serve as trusted advisors to business owners navigating growth, acquisitions, exits, and succession planning. His consulting work centers on valuation strategy, deal positioning, operational structure, and legacy planning for founder-led companies. As an author and mentor, Shane is deeply committed to leadership development and building businesses that outlast their founders. His work and companies are guided by integrity, accountability, faith, family, and community impact, with a disciplined, execution-first approach. Shane resides in Polk City, Iowa with his wife and three children and remains actively involved in local organizations, economic development initiatives, and community leadership.
