Bio
Every viable data center, AI campus, or renewable energy project starts with the same question: where is the land that can actually support it? Not just any parcel. The right parcel. One where transmission capacity, power access, natural gas, and fiber converge. One that can be evaluated, positioned, and structured around the client's capital strategy, whether through direct acquisition, joint venture, build-to-suit development, or long-term ground lease.
Finding that site and positioning it so capital can move with confidence is the work Shannon Wells and her team at Artemis Commercial Group do every day.
Artemis is a specialty commercial real estate firm focused on data center, AI, and renewable energy infrastructure across North America. Shannon founded the firm in 2022 after earning her broker's license and building deep expertise across the Oklahoma City market. Today, Artemis supports infrastructure-driven land opportunities through a National Site Selection team with the ability to transact across 48 states.
The numbers tell part of the story. Shannon has closed more than $79.2 million in commercial real estate, the vast majority through Artemis. Her recent representation of IREN, a publicly traded hyperscale operator, on a marquee data center land acquisition reflects the kind of work the firm was built to support: high-value infrastructure transactions where precision, speed, and market knowledge matter.
But sourcing the right land is only part of what makes Artemis different. On development projects led by the firm, Shannon brings in independent analysts to evaluate water availability, cooling requirements, and regulatory considerations before capital is committed. For Shannon, economic growth and responsible environmental stewardship are not separate conversations. They are part of the same decision-making process.
An Oklahoma native who began her career in design, Shannon brings a strategic eye to every engagement. She sees land not only for what it is, but for what it can support when infrastructure, access, capital strategy, and execution align. Her competitive drive, integrity, and disciplined approach have shaped Artemis into a trusted partner for clients pursuing the next generation of infrastructure development.
Outside of work, she recharges through hiking, golf, and travel, and counts being a mother to her two daughters as her greatest pride.
