Bio
Shelby Rosenberg joined the R&B Realty team in January 2016 to oversee the company’s acquisition and development strategy to grow the firm’s real estate portfolio across the United States. Since then, Shelby has led the company in the acquisition and financing of nearly 500,000 square feet of space over three acquisitions in Florida, Ohio and New Jersey. After acquiring a property, Shelby takes on the roles of asset, property and/or construction manager to add value to the asset. He also plays a number of roles, including but not limited to leasing strategy, capital management and tenant relations.
Shelby also assisted in the assemblage of a 48,000-square-foot development site in Miami’s trendy Wynwood neighborhood, where R&B Realty is currently building The Gateway at Wynwood, an office tower. Shelby serves as the senior manager for The Gateway at Wynwood, which will offer about 195,000 square feet of leasable Class A office space and nearly 25,900 square feet of prime street-level retail space, with scheduled completion in the second half of 2021. Prior to joining R&B, Shelby was a financial analyst for Colliers International in Manhattan. Prior to that, he was an analyst for the general contracting company Gotham Dream Builders. Shelby graduated from Yeshiva University in Manhattan with a bachelor’s of Finance from the Sy Syms School of business.
