Sims Garrison is Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer at Fairway Investments. In keeping with his love of baseball, Sims wears many hats, involved in finance, business development and strategy, and asset management. Sims, a native of Birmingham, AL, joined Fairway for a more hands-on role, after four years with accounting firm Arthur Anderson. Real Estate quickly became a passion and that has turned into over fifteen years of service with Fairway. Sims is an ICSC member and CCIM candidate. In addition to providing leadership at Fairway, Sims is devoted to being involved in the community. Sims applies this experience in serving his alma mater on the Advisory Board for the Auburn Masters of Real Estate Development Program (MRED). Sims is a member of the Monday Morning Quarterback Club (fundraising arm of The Crippled Children’s Foundation), a Mountain Brook Sports Corporation board member, as well as serving as a youth baseball and basketball coach.
Sims is a graduate of Auburn University, with a degree in Accounting.
When Sims is not on site visiting the Fairway portfolio, or analyzing future deals, you can find him at a sporting event or traveling (often to a sporting event) with his wife, son, and daughter.
