Partners Sophia Klopas and Jason Stratton are a brother and sister team who have been in the Illinois real estate market for over twenty years. Together they offer complementary skill sets and professional expertise that make KlopasStratton truly unique. 2018 was a great year for The KlopasStratton Team with $78 million in sales in areas like Bucktown, Wicker Park, Logan Square, West Loop, South Loop, Pilsen, Roscoe Village, Gold Coast, Lakeview, and Lincoln Park. The team was recognized for the 11th consecutive year at the Chicago Association of Realtors sales awards ranking in the top 1% of all realtors in the City of Chicago, achieving notoriety for both dollar volume and transaction volume, between 100 and 160 homes successfully closed. In 2018, the team was recognized as a Platinum achiever once again, ranking in the top 20 agents in all of Chicago!
Sophia has a Master’s Degree in Interior Design which assists her buyers in stepping back and noticing the appeal of different properties. Certain things that buyers may overlook, Sophia notices. Her approach gives buyers a unique vision of their property and a great understanding of what will help in a re-sale later on. On the selling side, Sophia’s background is extremely strong. Jason comes from a finance background and has been heavily involved with the real estate market since 1998. Since stepping into the Board of Trade 19 years ago, Jason always kept an eye on the housing market and began acquiring real estate his first year in the financial market. As his love for real estate grew, he knew this was something he wanted to dedicate all his efforts towards. Jason prides himself on examining a client from heart to mind, understanding the passion one has for a piece of property and assessing a property’s fair value. He understands that not only will his clients consider this place their home, but for most people, their largest single investment. Jason lives in Bucktown with his wife, Nikki, their three sons, and their dog, Jerry.
Chris’s determination, professionalism and insistent strive for perfection make for a work ethic that can’t be beat. Joining Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chicago in 2013, Christopher comes to our company with a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Iowa. He enters the real estate business from the sports marketing industry; in addition to an extensive background in hospitality and restaurant management. Born in Houston, Texas, Chris moved to the Midwest at a young age to the north shore suburbs of Chicago.
Erika Anguiano comes from a construction background with extensive knowledge of interior build outs. After five years of working as a Senior Project Manager, she worked hand in hand with a real estate company and investors overseeing a 52-unit rehabilitation project in Lincoln Park. At this point she discovered her love for selling, and made a full transition into real estate. Her desire to serve her clients’ particular needs coupled with her customer service expertise, construction knowledge, and her hard work allows her to stand out in the industry. Erika lives with her fiancé, four daughters, and their two Shih Tzus in Old Irving Park.
Zach Gallan comes from a hospitality background where enhancing the customer experience by providing an unparalleled level of service was always priority. Zach’s passion for service brought him to the real estate industry where he prides himself on creating clear communication that helps create a seamless transaction process. Working out of the Gold Coast office, Zach’s focus on Buying, Selling, Renting and investing makes him a valuable asset if you are planning on making a transaction in the neighborhood. Zach loves the Gold Coast for the restaurants, especially Maple & Ash where he says has the Fire Roasted Seafood Tower is one of the best dishes in the city.
