Bio
The Hon Spencer Canning is the eldest son of the
5th Baron Garvagh. Educated at Cranleigh, and
with a Diploma in Surveying from London
University, Spencer qualified with Healey & Baker
in 1977 and then moved onto Bernard Thorpe
& Partners. Here he gained his experience in
the investment sector before joining David Bayly
in 1980 to create one of the first niche
investment practices in the UK.
Spencer formed Asset Plus One Ltd in 1999,
reacting to the increasing demand from
individuals and private companies alike for
a specialised, personal approach to their
property interests.
