One Summerville couple wanted to move back to Connecticut. They wanted a streamlined process with minimal hassle. They vacated the house, then I listed it, handled repair estimates, coordinated and met contractors, and managed a fully absentee closing. They returned to Summerville only once after our initial meeting, allowing them to maintain control over their timeline and expenses.
Innovative marketing is my specialty. I helped an empty nester in West Ashley whose house failed to sell when it was listed with another agent. He dreamed of starting a new chapter in Arizona, and my market positioning got him an unrepresented buyer within weeks, which not only got him to Arizona, it also saved him money because he didn’t have to pay a buyer-agent fee and it streamlined closing.
For a 55+ couple dreaming of owning a second home near their first grand baby, I found a lock-and-leave property where the landscaping and maintenance would be handled for them, and then negotiated $21,000 from the builder to buy down their interest rate. The reduced rate dropped their monthly payment just enough to meet their budget and make their dream a reality.
A retiring couple moving from New Jersey contacted me with a very tight timeline: Their NJ house was sold and already had a closing date. Their goal was to find a home in Summerville and close within 30 days. We toured homes on FaceTime, when their house closed they moved into a 30-day rental, and within two days of that, we had their new water-view dream home under contract. They moved in with days to spare!
I've also guided first-time buyers through tough spots, helping one couple exit a contract to avoid costly repairs and securing a move-in-ready home. I helped another secure a loan that provided $7,500 toward down payment and $7,500 toward closing costs, which saved the buyer money AND helped him win a multiple-offer situation because he didn’t need money from the seller to close.
