Steve Bancroft is a Senior Managing Director of Trammell Crow Residential, the multifamily development company of Crow Holdings, and has served in several roles across Crow Holdings' entities since joining the firm in 1998. He joined Trammell Crow Residential in 2011, and his teams in DFW, Austin, Phoenix, Denver, and the Pacific Northwest have sourced, designed, financed, and began/completed construction on more than 80 projects totaling over $5.6 billion in capitalization and 22,000+ units. Prior to his current role, Bancroft led the planning, design, development, TIF formation, and disposition of the Dallas Design District for the Crow Family, led the placement, management, and disposition of multifamily, land, industrial, and hotel assets for CHC Funds I–V — cumulatively over $3 billion of equity within the real estate funds — and was critical to the startup of an industrial development platform responsible for over 1.1 million square feet of speculative warehouse development within the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
