Bio
Stephen D. Lebovitz currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of CBL Properties, a position he has held since January 1, 2010. He has also served on CBL’s Board of Directors since the completion of its initial public offering in November 1993. He has played various roles at the company during his career including heads of development, acquisitions and founding its New England office in 1988. Before joining CBL’s Predecessor, Mr. Lebovitz was a financial analyst with Goldman, Sachs & Co. from 1984 to 1986.
Stephen served as Chairman of the Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce CEO Roundtable in 2024. He was Chairman of the International Council of Shopping Centers, Inc. (“ICSC”) from May 2015 through May 2016 and is a past Trustee and Divisional Vice President of the ICSC (2002-08), as well as a former member of the Advisory Board of Governors of the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts (“NAREIT”). He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Stanford University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard University.
