Stephen A. Scott, CCIM has over 38 years of experience in real estate brokerage, investments, and development. He served as President of Kinsman Equity Partners, LLC, a Plano, Texas-based private equity firm that specialized in partnering with investors, developers and other firms to invest equity capital for proposed real estate projects, including retail, office, industrial and residential.
Previously, Stephen has served as President of Eagle Equity Capital, a subsidiary of Eagle Equity, Inc., as Executive Vice President and Director of Acquisitions of HSM Equity Partners, a subsidiary of Henry S. Miller Corporation, and as President and co-founder of Realty Capital Partners. He has also had several other leadership positions in the Dallas commercial real estate community. Stephen has formed approximately 50 limited partnerships for real estate investment, having served as general partner for many of them.
Stephen commenced his real estate career with the Commercial Retail Division of Henry S. Miller Company in 1974. He has an extensive background in and understanding of equity capital investment, leasing, financing, development and income property investment sales.
Stephen graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics. He has served on the board of Dallas Real Estate Ministry for 20 years.
