Sterling McGregor serves as President and Co-Founder of DealPoint Merrill, where he oversees acquisitions, operations, and the formulation of investment structures across the company’s national real estate portfolio. His responsibilities include leading capital markets strategy, structuring securities offerings, and guiding the firm’s value-add redevelopment and self-storage conversion initiatives. With more than 30 years of commercial real estate experience, McGregor has played a key role in expanding DealPoint Merrill’s platform, contributing to the acquisition and financing of more than 20 million square feet of commercial and multifamily assets valued at over $2.5 billion.
Prior to co-founding DealPoint Merrill, McGregor held senior leadership roles across the real estate investment sector. He formerly served as President and Managing Director for a regional self-storage redevelopment operator managing approximately 4,000 units. Earlier, he was a founding shareholder and Chief Operating/Investment Officer at CORE Realty Holdings, where he oversaw acquisitions, financing, asset management, and property management functions, facilitating more than $1.2 billion in real estate investments and the redevelopment of over 6,000 multifamily units. His broader background also includes extensive capital markets experience and oversight of private and public real estate offerings.
