Steve Gunning is a Senior Vice President & Principal in the Atlanta, GA office for SRS. He started with SRS Real Estate Partners in 2007 as vice president in the Atlanta, GA market office. Prior to joining SRS, Steve held real estate leadership positions with several national retailers including Nextel Retail Stores, Wolf Camera and Atlanta Bread Company. His responsibilities included all aspects of real estate, including strategic planning, site selection, lease administration and construction management. He has completed over 1,500 transactions during his career.
Steve specializes exclusively in tenant representation for a variety of retail and restaurant clients. Current clients include Hobby Lobby, Shoe Carnival, Shoe Station, Sally Beauty Supply, Cosmo Prof, Tous les Jours, and Rusty Taco. Past clients include Chubby Cattle, Outback Steakhouse, Earth Fare, Ideal Image, Moe’s Southwest Grill, Toys R Us and Five Guys. Steve has assisted multiple retailers with their growth strategies in Georgia and the Southeast, including generating over 40 new Hobby Lobby locations in Georgia and 8 Toys R Us locations in the Southeast. Steve is recognized by his clients for bringing a deep understanding of the Atlanta retail environment, an innovative approach to creating opportunities in a tight market, and his long-term relationships with developers and owners of real estate.
