Bio
Founder and CEO, Mr. Romer entered the real estate appraisal profession in 1987 as a commercial appraiser after spending five years as the Branch Manager for the Illinois, Indiana, and Puerto Rico operations of a family-owned armed and unarmed security guard business with 2,500 employees. By circa 1990, Mr. Romer completed a Lotus 123/Word Perfect-based commercial appraisal valuation program that generated 100+ page narrative appraisal reports. Over time, the program was contemporized into Microsoft Excel/Word, copyrighted, annually updated with new features and expanded utilities, and instrumental in managing both the quality of appraisals and the growth of WestRock Appraisal Services.
