As Chief Financial Officer, Sunni oversees all aspects of accounting, financial analysis, investments, and real estate development at Gibson Hotel Management. She works closely with the executive team and senior leadership to guide the company’s financial operations and strategic growth, while also serving as a key liaison to investors, lenders, and external partners.
Sunni began her hospitality career with Starwood Hotels & Resorts in 2009. In 2015, she joined Duke Hospitality in Atlanta, Georgia, where she advanced from Corporate Director of Finance to Vice President of Finance. After relocating to California, she briefly transitioned into banking as Vice President of Financial Analysis at MUFG Union Bank, managing low-income housing investments. In 2021, she returned to hospitality and joined Gibson Hotel Management in Tennessee, bringing a wealth of financial expertise and industry insight to the role.
