Bio
Syd obtained his real estate license in his senior year at UCLA. He originally intended to go to law school, but after selling three homes within thirty days of obtaining his license he was hooked! After being the top real estate agent in the office he joined every month from the day he started to the day he left, about three years, he decided to move companies. Within a few weeks, he knew that moving was a mistake and in 1986, when he was just 25, he opened Paramount Properties which later became Rodeo Realty. Within a few years, the company had several hundred agents. By 2008 it had become the largest single-owned independent real estate company in California. In 2021, the firm sold over 6,000 homes with a sales volume of over $6 billion.
