Taimur started his career in Finance and Accounting earning the Chartered Accountant designation in 2011 while providing Audit, Tax and Advisory services for clients in various industries including Real Estate, Oil and Gas, Mining, Software and Government. Taimur’s accounting experience involves working with small owner managed business to large multi-national corporations.
Additionally, Taimur gained extensive experience developing financial models, conducting research and producing investment analysis while he worked on a Top Ranked team in an Equity Research capacity under a Stock Analyst at CIBC World Markets. Identifying key value drivers and potential risks for various scenarios was a consistent demand in Taimur’s role.
Taimur has always had a keen interest in the Industrial Real Estate sector. Having grown up in different parts of the world, he has had the opportunity to experience many distinct and diverse markets continually fueling his passion for the Real Estate industry.
Recently having begun his career as an Advisor with Avison Young, Taimur has a natural entrepreneurial mindset, pertinent hustle and tenacity, and genuine interest in an active lifestyle. He has been consistently recognized for his outstanding service and dedication to clients and projects at hand.
