A native Coloradan, Tara King has spent more than 35 years helping clients successfully navigate Colorado's dynamic real estate market. Her commitment to exceptional customer service, professionalism, and extensive knowledge of real estate practices and contract law has earned her a reputation as a trusted advisor and advocate for buyers, sellers, investors, and fellow real estate professionals.
Throughout her career, Tara has served clients across the Denver Metropolitan Area and surrounding communities, providing strategic guidance through a wide range of market conditions. Her depth of experience allows her to skillfully negotiate complex transactions while helping clients make informed decisions that support their long-term goals.
Tara currently serves as an Employing Broker with HomeSmart in Greenwood Village, Colorado, where she oversees and supports real estate professionals while continuing to assist clients with their real estate needs. She is also an accomplished real estate educator, teaching Colorado-approved continuing education courses and sharing her expertise with agents throughout the state.
In 2008, Tara earned the prestigious Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager (CRB) designation, one of the most respected credentials in real estate business management. She also holds the Graduate, REALTOR® Institute (GRI) designation and has received numerous industry recognitions, including President's Awards and Roundtable Awards. However, Tara considers her greatest professional achievement to be helping clients find the right home, investment property, or solution to meet their unique needs.
A strong advocate for professionalism within the real estate industry, Tara serves on the Colorado Association of REALTORS® Professional Standards Committee, helping uphold ethical practices and industry standards throughout Colorado.
Community service has always been an important part of Tara's life. She serves as a lead mediator for Court Mediation Services, providing mediation services through the Denver County Court system. She is also a former President of the Board of Directors for the SaddleUp! Foundation, an organization dedicated to empowering individuals with special needs and disabilities through equine-assisted activities and therapies.
Over the years, Tara has generously contributed her time and leadership to numerous nonprofit organizations, including the Denver Center for the Performing Arts, Colorado Neurological Institute, Teen With a Dream Foundation, Douglas County PTO, FASB Fitness Festival, and Arapahoe House.
