Tenel was Chief Investment Officer of AmREIT, starting there in 2003. With over $3 billion of real estate transactions, Tenel started his real estate career in 1992 at Granite Properties and then The Woodlands Development Company before working at AmREIT. Tenel lead the formation of AmREIT’s industry-leading, highest quality portfolio and also sourced property-level debt and joint venture equity.
