Teresa grew up in the Northern Virginia microcosm where the small towns of Vienna, Fairfax, and McLean sat just outside the Nation’s Capital yet bordered the largest dairy county in the state at that time. She graduated from the University of Virginia in 1977 planning a career in marketing and public relations. She worked for Ehrlich Manes and Associates, an advertising firm in Bethesda, and UniWorld Group which specialized in public service campaigns. Eventually, a job as a marketing sales director for the Mid-Atlantic region led to her marriage and life on the Eastern Shore in Fenwick Island working for a small publications company.
Her desire to be near family led her back to Virginia but chose to go over the mountain and buy in the growing college town area of Winchester with its Apple Blossom Festival, highly regarded Medical Center, and its rich history. This is where her real estate career began leading to almost 30 years of service.
In the beginning, she applied for the association awards and earned the President’s Award for sales figures in the top 5%. However, once she had a successful history, she realized the individualized service of each client is what matters. Buying and selling one’s home is personal and she will provide the best possible customized service at every opportunity.
