Tom earned his first real estate license while in College, his Broker’s license before he was 21, and bought his first investment property while still in school by using his commission as the down payment. He walks the walk. Upon graduation from Indiana University with a Finance degree, the prime interest rate was close to 20% (yes, really for you youngsters). So, wanting to eat, Tom went into the corporate sales world and was fortunate to receive some of the best possible professional sales training from Pitney Bowes, ADP, and Enterprise (each of which is the undisputed leader in its field). Tom has owned his own Brokerage company, Business Acquisitions Brokerage, Inc since 1998. His CRE firm, Commercial Experts, Inc., was started as a result of the Great Recession when NO businesses were being sold. Tom holds a broker’s license in Florida and Georgia. He has earned numerous distinctions throughout his 30-plus years in Mergers and Acquisitions and Commercial Real Estate. He has completed sales of multi-million dollar businesses, worked with national and regional franchises, assisted in “Visa” related transactions involving many different countries and treaties, and has made many people wealthier through his knowledge of his craft and his work ethic. Tom holds the highly coveted designation of CCIM, is a past member of the Atlanta Commercial Board Education Committee, a former Chair of the Forms Committee, is a past multi-year member of the Board of Directors of the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors and a past ACBR President’s award winner. He is also a 2025 member of the Board of Directors for The Georgia Association of Business Brokers (GABB).
