Bio
Thomas is a Concord native who graduated from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill with a BA in Religious Studies and Peace, War, and Defense. He went on to receive a Post Baccalaureate Diploma in Sustainable Community Development from Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, BC Canada. Thomas has a wealth of knowledge and experience with sustainable business development. Thomas has assisted businesses from a variety of sectors refine their business practices. Before joining New Branch, Thomas was in charge of leasing and property management at one of the region’s largest adaptive reuse properties; where he oversaw the development of Cabarrus County’s first food hall. This project was a catalyst to Thomas pursuing a career in commercial real estate.
Thomas and his wife, Rindy, have two children who are always looking for their next adventure. In his free time, Thomas enjoys volunteering as a youth sports coach, Cub Scout leader, and a business mentor through the Venture Mentoring Service at the Cabarrus Center.
