Bio
Thomas Propst, SIOR, is a commercial real estate broker in Concord, North Carolina, and the Broker/Owner of Northstate Property Advisors. Active in commercial real estate since 2006, Thomas advises property owners, investors, developers, landlords, tenants, and businesses throughout Cabarrus County and the greater Charlotte metropolitan area.
Thomas specializes in commercial land sales, industrial and warehouse sales and leasing, office sales and leasing, investment sales, and buyer and tenant representation. His experience includes development sites, industrial buildings, warehouses, flex properties, office buildings, owner-occupied facilities, and select retail properties. He assists clients with listing and disposition strategy, site selection, acquisitions, landlord representation, tenant representation, lease negotiations, market analysis, and development advisory.
His primary service area includes Cabarrus, Mecklenburg, Rowan, Union, and Stanly counties, with extensive experience in Concord, Kannapolis, Harrisburg, Mount Pleasant, Charlotte, Salisbury, Monroe, and Albemarle. This concentrated regional focus gives clients practical insight into commercial property values, lease rates, zoning, utilities, transportation access, entitlement requirements, infrastructure, development constraints, due diligence, and local approval processes.
Thomas holds the SIOR designation and completed more than $25 million in commercial sales and leasing volume in 2025. He is also a multi-year recipient of the Charlotte Region Commercial Board of REALTORS® Deal Makers Award, now known as the Circle of Excellence Award.
Thomas takes a hands-on, advisory approach to every assignment. He helps clients understand the market, identify risks, compare alternatives, and develop a practical negotiation strategy before important decisions are made. When needed, he coordinates with attorneys, engineers, surveyors, lenders, contractors, and municipal staff to help keep transactions moving and address issues early.
His objective is not simply to close a sale or lease, but to help each client make a sound real estate decision that supports long-term business or investment goals. Whether the assignment involves selling commercial land, leasing industrial or office space, acquiring an owner-occupied building, marketing an investment property, or evaluating a development site, Thomas provides experienced representation, responsive communication, local market knowledge, and straightforward advice.
