Thomas Reiter is the President of Sentinel Development Services, Inc. Most recently he was a Principal in commercial real estate development ventures and Partner in a private equity fund. Previously, he was the Chief Investment Officer for two family offices in Southern California. In those positions he managed, sourced, structured and developed real estate holdings, private equity holdings, public securities and oil & gas investments. He was instrumental in raising debt and equity, structuring investment agreements, introducing strategic partners and implementing the respective business plans. During his tenure he developed and/or managed real estate holdings in 20+ states in a wide array of asset classes, including: fast food restaurants, hospitality, industrial, multi-family, office and retail. After college he focused his career, with KPMG and Ernst & Young, around capital market transactions and assisted companies with SEC (IPO's and secondary offerings), CMBS bond offerings and capital market transactions in the US and Europe. Mr. Reiter holds a B.S. from St. Cloud State University and is a recipient of San Diego’s “40 Under 40” honor. Thomas Reiter has been with CREDE since 2015, serving as President and Owner. With a strong background in commercial real estate development, capital markets and private equity, he previously held key leadership roles as Chief Investment Officer for two Southern California family offices. In these roles, he sourced, structured, and managed diverse investments, including real estate, private equity, public securities, and oil and gas. His expertise in raising capital, forming strategic partnerships, and executing business plans has been instrumental in managing assets across over 20 states, spanning fast food, hospitality, industrial, multi-family, office, and retail sectors. Earlier in his career, Thomas worked with KPMG and Ernst & Young, where he specialized in capital markets, SEC transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and CMBS bond offerings in the U.S. and Europe. Thomas holds a B.S. from St. Cloud State University and proudly served in the US Army National Guard where he gained valuable leadership and teamwork skills. Thomas has been recognized in San Diego’s “40 Under 40” and is an active member of TIGER 21, ICSC, NAIOP, and ULI.
