Bio
Thuy Tran left Vietnam on a fishing boat in 1981 and was a refugee in the Philippines prior to coming to the US in 1982. Prior to living in Reno, she lived in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Marquette University. She has lived happily in Reno since 1996 and has been an active Realtor in Reno since 2007 and prior to that she was a mortgage lender.
Giving back to the community is another aspect of her life that she cherishes. She has donated a portion of her sales to the Vietnamese Association of Northern Nevada since 2009 and has raised money for the Northern Nevada Food Bank and the Ronald McDonald Chef Program. The Certified Residential Specialists of Northern Nevada (CRS), an organization that requires selective designation, donated over $7,200 to Awaken, which helps women in Northern Nevada.
Thuy is also a member of The Asian Real Estate Association of America (Las Vegas and Sacramento Chapters). She looks forward to being a military mom, as her son Michael committed to the United States Air Force Academy to play football for the Falcons. You see, she has a sincere interest in contributing to a community that has provided her with bountiful business opportunities!
