Timothy Veler, SIOR, CCIM, is a recognized leader in commercial real estate with over 30 years of experience delivering thoughtful, value-driven advisory services. After earning his bachelor’s degree in Communications from North Carolina State University in 1989, he served as a law enforcement officer for nine years before retiring and transitioning into real estate.
In 1994, Timothy founded Veler Investment Real Estate Group (later Veler Commercial), focusing on industrial, office, land, and multi-family properties. He spent over a decade at Transwestern before aligning with SVN to establish SVN | Veler Commercial in Dallas, Texas, where he serves as Principal and Managing Director.
Timothy specializes in acquisition/disposition, investment sales, agency leasing, and corporate tenant representation, serving clients nationwide—from local investors and Mom-and-Pop businesses to global leaders like Prologis Inc. and LINK Logistics Industrial. His unique approach synchronizes clients’ real estate strategies with their broader business and personal goals, emphasizing education, transparency, and efficient, market-driven execution.
A passionate advocate for the industry and community, Timothy holds the prestigious SIOR designation (recently earned) alongside his long-standing CCIM. He has served on boards including the CCIM Institute, Texas Realtors, North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors (NTCAR), MetroTex Commercial Committee, NAUMS (past president and current board member), and WIBN (Vice President, Texas chapter).
Timothy resides in the Dallas area with his family and leads a multi-generational team at SVN | Veler Commercial, bringing stability, shared values, and diverse perspectives to every transaction.
