Todd Nathanson is a founding visionary and veteran leader in Southern California commercial real estate, currently serving as the Founder and President of illi Commercial Real Estate. Headquartered in Woodland Hills, illi is a specialized firm offering commercial brokerage, property management, and investment advisory services with a focus on multi-tenant and Triple Net leased (NNN) commercial assets. Todd began his career in commercial real estate in 1986, bringing nearly four decades of dedicated market experience to his clients. He launched illi Commercial Real Estate in 2007 with the vision of creating a different kind of company—one committed to serving clients and communities through collaboration, experience, and innovation. Prior to founding illi CRE, Todd spent 17 years as the Director of the San Fernando Valley Division of Centers Business Management (CBM), the leasing and brokerage arm of La Mancha Development. His time at CBM, a developer of small corner strip mall shopping centers in Southern California, was instrumental in building the valuable professional relationships that underpin his success today. Over his 36-year career, Todd has been a part of nearly 4,800 lease and sales transactions. Under Todd’s leadership, illi Commercial Real Estate has achieved consistent, high-level industry recognition. The firm has been awarded CoStar’s (the largest commercial real estate information and analytics provider) top brokerage designation, “Power Broker,” annually since its inception. For the last eleven years, CoStar has ranked illi Commercial Real Estate first place in the total annual quantity of lease transactions firm-wide in Southern California, demonstrating significant market dominance. Todd is passionate about the future of the industry and has personally joined forces with, partnered with, and mentored over 150 agents throughout his career. He continues to focus on refining illi’s commercial agent training programs to recruit and produce top-tier talent, a facet of the business he enjoys immensely. A native of Los Angeles, Todd is deeply dedicated to his community. He has been a member of Big Brothers Big Sisters for 42 years and is especially proud of his ongoing relationship with his Little Brother. Since 2004, he has served as one of the original board members of The Harmony Project, an organization that promotes the healthy development of children by providing music lessons and instruments. The Harmony Project builds healthier communities by investing in children’s positive growth through music, serving as musical ambassadors of peace and understanding across diverse cultures and backgrounds.
