As a Senior Director at Cushman & Wakefield (C&W) MSP Advisory Services Team, Tom helps companies to develop real estate strategies that align/support the business goals and employee workplace experience. Tom and his team collaborate to develop and implement the strategic initiatives to maximize value for Twin Cities based tenants through: renewals, relocations, dispositions, expansions, sale lease back structuring, and portfolio location cost reduction strategies for his multi-market clients.
Tom works together with both clients and colleagues to identify unique market opportunities and applies his in-depth market knowledge, coupled with his strong financial background, to capture the highest value for his clients. His core responsibilities include: negotiation of lease terms, both financial and non-financial, site selection, property dispositions/acquisitions, reducing risk, occupancy cost reduction strategies, and the employee experience. He has distinguished himself by listening to his clients, then tailoring a customized real estate strategy which aligns with the vast resources within C&W to build a customized solution specific to the needs of each client.
Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield Minneapolis in 2019, Tom spent 11 years with CBRE as Vice President where he focused on working with Twin Cities based companies and servicing multi-market portfolio accounts.
