Tom’s brokerage career spans more than thirty years working primarily in South of Market office and industrial sales and leasing. He is also President - Emeritus of TRI Commercial Real Estate Services. A past member of the company's Board of Directors and Executive Committee, Tom served twenty years as Manager of TRI's San Francisco office, and also served on the Executive Committee of CORFAC International, in addition to being Chairman of both the CORFAC Communications Committee and Bylaws/Policy & Procedures Task Force during his tenure. In 2015, he was honored with CORFAC's prestigious Charlie King Award - the organization's "MVP", named after the organization's Founding Father.
Martindale has closed in excess of over one million square feet of small industrial sales over his career and more than half a million square feet in leases. Some of the most significant transactions include an $8,000,000 campus expansion for California College of the Arts (CCA), 60,000 square foot Torani Syrup manufacturing facility, 42,000 square foot Zellerbach Family Fund telecommunications switch facility, and multiple site acquisitions for Martin Building Company. He also represented a 40,000 square foot GAP Inc. light - industrial facility and a 30,000 square foot Propaganda Building dot-com lease. He is an active member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR), emblematic of the top 15% of active brokers and sales managers nationwide.
