Tom Svoboda is a Senior Vice President with the CBRE Land Services Group. The team specializes in the sale of land, redevelopment, and repurpose sites throughout the city and suburbs. Tom’s concentration within his team is urban development, focusing on the downtown Chicago market and infill suburban opportunities. With regard to real estate land, development, and redevelopment/reuse transactions, Tom has worked on a wide array of asset classes including but not limited to multifamily, for-sale residential (single-family, townhome, and condo communities), office to residential conversion, retail & entertainment, industrial, office & medical office, self-storage, etc.
The Land Services Group has long been a leader in development site transactions throughout the Chicagoland area. The team has participated in over 1,000 sales transactions, with sales in excess of $2 billion. Tom’s communication with a large database of investors, developers, property owners, and governing bodies makes him a substantial asset in maintaining the team’s position at the forefront of an ever-changing economic environment.
