Thomas P. Waltz (Tom) is the Principal Broker of Waltz Commercial Real Estate, LLC, and a veteran of the Commercial Real Estate industry. He has over 35 years of experience in the Hampton Roads market area. Mr. Waltz has sold or leased a wide assortment of commercial properties throughout the region. Please take a moment and review our Results Page. Mr. Waltz sold the world-renowned Historic Chamberlin Hotel located on Fort Monroe in Hampton, Virginia. This landmark transaction was recognized by the Virginia CCIM Chapter as one of the most significant real estate transactions in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Through the years, he has successfully worked with Fortune 500 companies, international firms, municipal governments, educational institutions, various local and regional businesses, and startup companies pursuing the American Dream. Tom has held many leadership positions with numerous Professional and Civic organizations.
Mr. Waltz graduated from Christopher Newport University (CNU) with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Real Estate. During college he worked at United Parcel Service and learned the valuable lesson ‘Time is Money” and employs that concept into his business and that of his clients.
Tom is married to his wife Janis and they have two grown sons, Anthony, and Travis. Both sons have their real estate licenses with Waltz Commercial Real Estate, LLC. Anthony is married to Sophia, and they have 2 beautiful children, Gregory and Evie. Anthony is the owner of a very successful commercial and residential garage door company – ATW Door Systems. Travis is an integral part of Waltz Commercial Real Estate. Travis is a natural born salesmen and has expanded the firm’s reach into New Kent County, Kilmarnock, VA, Fredericksburg, and Waverly with recent closings.
