Tristen Houston is a Commercial Real Estate Advisor & Developer with Marmot Properties, specializing in redevelopment and investments in downtown/midtown Reno and Northern Nevada. Born and raised in Reno, he has seen firsthand the city’s evolution and is committed to its future growth.
Having owned multiple businesses in downtown Reno, Tristen brings a unique perspective on the area’s opportunities and challenges. His focus is on revitalizing historic and underutilized properties, working with hotels, multi-family projects, mixed-use developments, retail, and office spaces to bring long-term value to the community.
His goal is to help shape Reno into the Next Great American City—a thriving destination for residents, businesses, and visitors. With Marmot Properties, he is involved in development, general contracting, brokerage, and property management, working with investors, developers, and business owners to support thoughtful, sustainable growth. In addition to Reno, he works on commercial projects in Sparks, Carson City, Lake Tahoe, Winnemucca, and Battle Mountain.
