Concurrent with his brokerage leadership role, Tyson served as Director of Acquisitions at Berkeley Partners, an institutional real estate investment manager with more than $2 billion in assets under management. In this capacity, he led acquisition and disposition efforts exceeding $280 million across multiple U.S. markets, working closely with investment, legal, and asset management teams throughout the transaction lifecycle. Earlier in his career, Tyson worked in institutional investment sales at HFF (now JLL) in San Francisco and began his career at Industry Capital, a private equity real estate firm focused on multi-tenant industrial assets.
Tyson holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of California, Davis, graduating cum laude. He is actively involved in the community and currently serves on the Board of Directors for The Center for the Arts, where he previously served as Board President.
