Walt Wehrmann, Broker-Principal of Black Marlin Commercial RE in Orange County, has over two decades of experience in the real estate field and is a state certified Disabled Veteran Business Entity (DVBE), Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business (SDVOB) and certified through the National Veteran Business Development Council (NVBDC). Specializing in Investment Sales, Government Leased Investment Sales and Corporate Occupier Services. Walt utilizes a client-first, process-driven approach designed to maximize property value while minimizing cost and managing risks. He does this by grounding each business interaction with accountability, communication and teamwork.
Walt started his real estate career in 1992, specializing in tenant and landlord needs in the San Gabriel Valley. In 2002, Walt and his family relocated to the High Desert where he continued his career with NAI Capital as a broker associate and in office and industrial leasing. Ultimately Walt joined the Coldwell Banker Commercial team in 2009-2015 as a Vice President where he serves each client with his influence of solid community relationships, market knowledge, integrated services, technological capabilities and sound strategic decisions. In 2015, Walt and his wife Janette opened Black Marlin CRE in Newport Beach, Ca. and continues to enjoy the assisting of landlords, tenants and investors execute their big-picture ideas by providing the necessary small detail solutions.
Some of Walt’s notable client relationships include: Clear Capital, Valuation Support Services, ACS and Vitalizer, Inc. for determining the value and disposition of non-performing and pre-foreclosed bank-owned properties. Additionally, Walt has fulfilled the real estate needs and requirements for G4S Wackenhut, Corp., Tomra Pacific Replanet, Meineke, Aegis Medical Systems, The County of San Bernardino and Riverside, Microsoft, Vanir and numerous other professionals, occupiers and investors.
Walt and his wife, Janette are extremely committed to mentoring young people. Together, they have coached youth athletics, including and extending beyond their own four children. They also volunteer their time and resources to local non-profit organizations that assist youth. Walt and Janette look forward to many more years assisting their clients in achieving their real estate goals.
