Bio
Damon was born in Illinois, grew up in Dallas and graduated from Hillcrest High School. He then received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in marketing from Texas Christian University. After completing his education, Walter served in the U.S. Air Force Reserves as a Medical Supply Officer. He has spent all of his business career in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
Walter began his real estate career with Fox & Jacobs (now Centex) in 1972 and subsequently became the Dallas/Fort Worth Land Manager. In this position he was responsible for land acquisition, development and the marketing and sale of peripheral land. After eight years with Fox & Jacobs/Centex, Walter became affiliated with the Duvall-Giles commercial real estate brokerage firm. In his 12 years as a broker, he focused on residential and multi-family land for development and investment land tracts for residential and commercial uses. In 1992, Walter joined Hanover Property Company to develop and market single-family residential subdivisions to homebuilders in Dallas/Fort Worth.
Walter is an avid golfer and member of Lakewood Country Club. He and his wife, Donna, are members of Highland Park Presbyterian Church. He enjoys time spent with his family and counts many long-time acquaintances as friends in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
