Bio
Will joined Chartwell Hospitality in 2008 and has led more than $1.0 billion in ground-up development projects across the United States. He began his career as an on-site superintendent and project manager with the company’s in-house construction division and now serves as Executive Vice President of Development. He also leads Franklin Construction Group, overseeing construction for many of Chartwell’s residential projects.
His development work includes the Hilton Franklin Cool Springs, recognized as Hilton’s 2018 New Build of the Year in the Americas, and the Courtyard and Residence Inn Kansas City Downtown Convention Center, which received the 2017 Capstone Mixed-Use Development of the Year award. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute and holds a Tennessee BC Unlimited contracting license. He earned a degree in hotel, restaurant, and tourism management from the University of Tennessee.
